The Civil Guard has dismantled a marijuana plantation in a residential area of Picassent, after neighbors reported a strong and persistent smell.

The investigation began last February, when several complaints were received from residents of a Picassent urbanization. These complaints referred to an intense and constant smell of marijuana permeating the area.
Officers were dispatched to the urbanization to verify the information and successfully identified the home from which the smell originated. Additionally, measurements were taken at the urbanization's electrical transformer, a common indicator in these types of illegal plantations.
Currently, the perpetrator of the crime is being sought for arrest, as reported by the Armed Institute in an official statement.
