Agents of the Armed Institute are actively searching for the alleged trafficker, who is currently at large. The operation took place after neighbors reported a strong cannabis odor emanating from the vicinity of the villa.
Following the search of the property, agents seized over 43 kilograms of marijuana buds and 160 cuttings of the same plant. The investigation began last February, following several complaints about an intense and persistent marijuana smell in a local residential community.
In mid-March, a sudden cessation of electricity consumption was detected in the community, leading to suspicions that the person responsible was attempting to dismantle the plantation or flee. Given this situation, agents expedited the operation and proceeded to enter and search the villa.
Inside, suspicions were confirmed, with 43.60 kilograms of marijuana, 160 cannabis cuttings, and complete industrial equipment, including climate control systems, irrigation pumps, and fans, being found. The alleged perpetrator is charged with a crime against public health for drug trafficking.
The investigation was carried out by the Picassent Main Post, and the proceedings have been handed over to the Civil and Instruction Section of the Picassent Plaza Court number 2.
