The program begins on Friday, April 24, with the monologue Una madre de película, starring Toni Acosta. The play, written and directed by Juan Carlos Rubio, explores the feelings of parents when their children become independent. Acosta portrays Eva María, who faces the task of searching for a document in her son's room, testing her maternal curiosity. The performance will start at 8:00 PM.
On Saturday, April 25, the auditorium stage will welcome Novembre Elèctric, one of the most recognized Valencian pop-rock bands. The group celebrates its ten-year career with the presentation of their album Tarongers, offering both their latest compositions and a review of their most emblematic songs. The concert is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
To conclude the weekend, on Sunday, April 26, at 7:00 PM, Capella de Ministrers will offer a concert of ancient and baroque music. Under the direction of Carles Magraner, the program Arie e Lamenti. El nacimiento de la ópera will include works by the Italian composer Sigismondo d’India and instrumental pieces inspired by Girolamo Frescobaldi. The ensemble will feature the participation of soprano and baroque guitarist Beatriz Lafont and baroque guitarist Manuel Minguillón.
