The Aldaia City Council has reimbursed 3 million euros in Property Tax (IBI) for 2024 to over 9,000 property owners whose properties were directly affected by the DANA storm on October 29, 2024.

The municipality of Aldaia was one of the most severely impacted by the DANA storm that hit the province of Valencia on October 29, 2024. In response, its city council implemented several measures, including the reimbursement of the 2024 IBI receipt for homes that suffered direct damage due to the catastrophe.
The Municipal Tax Agency clarified that this measure applies to "ground floors or homes directly linked to garages or storage rooms on the same receipt," provided they are properties "directly hit by water and mud."

"This is a necessary and positive measure to help, as much as possible, alleviate the devastating effects of the 2024 DANA."

Guillermo Luján · Mayor of Aldaia
