The municipality of Albal has concluded its Book Week, an event marked by significant public participation in all programmed activities, solidifying reading as a cultural cornerstone.

The initiative, promoted by the departments of Culture and Commerce, received support from entities such as ACIXEA, the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor of the Generalitat Valenciana, Unió Gremial, and the SARC Diputación de Valencia. This collaboration enabled a diverse agenda, designed to attract audiences of all ages and foster reading habits.
For several days, Albal transformed into a cultural meeting point, with activities including book presentations, family-oriented proposals, poetry recitals, oral storytelling sessions, and the traditional Book Fair. The program commenced on April 17 at the Casa de la Cultura with the presentation of the work El Sant Caliç de la Catedral de Valencia by author Jorge Manuel Rodríguez, followed by a poetry recital.
April 18 was dedicated to children and families with a magic show by Mago Pinchito. One of the central events was the fifth edition of the Albal Book Fair, held on April 19 in the courtyard of CEIP San Blas, which saw a notable turnout of residents. The fair featured book sales areas, children's activities, workshops, and presentations, establishing itself as a dynamic and participatory environment.
Book Week concluded on April 23, coinciding with Book Day, with activities at the Municipal Library. These included the children's storytelling session Més enllà del bosc and the adult oral storytelling session Els contes com les cireres.

"The objective set has been successfully met: to bring culture and reading closer to the population and, at the same time, to strengthen Albal's social, commercial, and cultural fabric."
