The municipality of Aldaia has received the European Quality Seal for Youth Information, a distinction that endorses the work of municipal services aimed at young people in terms of information and advice.

This award, granted by the Institut Valencià de la Joventut (IVAJ) on the occasion of European Youth Information Day, highlights the work of the Gent Jove and Centre Matilde Salvador centers. From these spaces, information on training, employment, leisure, and social resources is channeled to the young population of the municipality.
The seal certifies that Aldaia's services comply with the principles set out in the European Youth Information Charter, which establishes criteria such as objectivity, clarity, and usefulness of content. In a context marked by information overload and the proliferation of fake news, this recognition seeks to ensure that young people access verified sources.

"One of the main current challenges is for young people to be able to identify truthful information against fake news or misleading content, especially on social media."

Obtaining this seal places Aldaia within the network of services that meet European standards in youth information in the Valencian Community. The process requires adherence to a series of principles and the successful completion of an evaluation procedure that guarantees the quality of the service.
The recognition comes at a time when youth services have expanded their role beyond mere information, also incorporating guidance and support tasks to address the changing needs of young people.
