Valencia Provincial Council Boosts Beach Cleaning with 2.3 Million Euro Investment

The Valencia Provincial Council has presented new equipment for cleaning Valencian beaches at Puçol beach, an investment of 2.3 million euros that will strengthen the service throughout the province.

The presentation event, held at Puçol beach, was attended by mayors and councillors from various towns in the region, accompanied by the Deputy for Environment. This initiative aims to improve the operational capacity and territorial distribution of resources dedicated to maintaining the coastline in optimal conditions.
The new equipment, approved by the Provincial Council in its March plenary session, involves a significant investment. Out of a total of 2.3 million euros, 1,100,000 euros are allocated to the acquisition of tractors, implements, and a van adapted as a mobile workshop. The remaining 1,200,000 euros will be invested in the purchase of two warehouses, located in the northern and central areas of the province, to complete a more operational network for beach cleaning.

The highest municipal authority of Puçol highlighted the importance of this investment for the municipality. Thanks to this allocation, Puçol will be able to have three tractors exclusively dedicated to cleaning its beaches during the upcoming summer season, thus ensuring a better service for residents and visitors.
