The German multinational Stockmeier Química inaugurated its new facilities this Thursday in the industrial estate L’Andana in Paterna, a new industrial hub of 28,100 m² that represents "a strategic milestone for the company in Spain", according to a statement.
The center, which becomes Stockmeier's second headquarters in Spain after Barcelona, integrates commercial offices, a logistics warehouse, a production and packaging plant, as well as application laboratories, reinforcing the group's presence in the national market and Southern Europe.
The center, which becomes Stockmeier's second headquarters in Spain after Barcelona, integrates commercial offices, a logistics warehouse, a production and packaging plant, as well as application laboratories, reinforcing the group's presence in the national market and Southern Europe.
The launch of these facilities responds to the growth strategy of the Stockmeier Group and "consolidates its commitment to the Valencian Community as a benchmark industrial enclave", according to the company.
“"Every investment is a bet, and Stockmeier's bet on Valencia has been significant and brave. With this project, we demonstrate our full confidence in the economy of this region, in its companies, and in its people."
Designed under criteria of "efficiency, modernity, and sustainability", the new complex will allow the company to expand its operational capacity, improve its proximity to the main industrial centers of the Mediterranean arc, and offer a more agile, specialized service adapted to its clients' needs. The plant also incorporates highly digitized processes, advanced operational control systems, and measures aimed at maximizing safety and energy efficiency.
The inauguration brought together around 250 guests, including clients, suppliers, logistics companies, financial entities, sectoral associations, institutional representatives, and members of the Valencian business community.
The event was attended by Juan Antonio Sagredo, mayor of Paterna, who highlighted: "The fact that a company like Stockmeier continues to grow and bets on Paterna is very important for us. Over the last 10 years, we have developed a very important and clear industrial strategy, which has allowed, among other things, that nearly 25% of growth comes from these new investments that have arrived in the municipality". He also emphasized the importance of industrial investment, attracting business projects, and the role of the Valencian Community as a competitive territory, which he described as "a pride".
For his part, Villalba explained that the new plant was conceived from the outset as an opportunity to advance in sustainability, digitalization, and service capacity. "The Valencian Community offers the ideal conditions to continue growing: a dynamic business fabric, an industry with international projection, and a strategic location. These factors have been decisive in choosing Paterna as one of the pillars of Stockmeier's project in Spain", he added.
The German chemical company's center in Paterna has 47 tanks and a bulk storage volume of 2,100 m³, in addition to six packaging and production rooms and a logistics warehouse of over 3,300 m² with capacity for more than 3,100 pallets, including heated and refrigerated areas for special products. The facilities also incorporate control and application laboratories, industrial automation systems, and infrastructure prepared for further expansion of production and service capabilities in the coming years.
