Ricardo Ten Crowned European Time Trial Champion

The athlete from Tavernes Blanques adds a gold medal to the Spanish team's tally at the Paralympic Cycling European Championship.

Valencian cyclist Ricardo Ten has been crowned the European Time Trial Champion in the MC1 category, held in Maniago, Italy, further enhancing his impressive record.

Ten's victory is part of the eight medals secured by the Spanish team, which concluded its participation with a total of three golds, two silvers, and three bronzes across various disciplines.
The first six medals were won during the time trial events. Alongside Ricardo Ten's gold, Manuela Vos became continental champion in WC2, Eduardo Santas secured silver in MC3, and the tandem of Joan Sansó and Eloy Teruel finished in second place. Maribel Toro (WC1) and Juan Alberto Jiménez (MC3) completed the opening day's medal count with bronze medals each.
In the road races, Manuela Vos once again reached the top of the podium, achieving her second European title of the championship. Maribel Toro added another bronze, bringing the Spanish delegation's total medal count to eight.
Ricardo Ten narrowly missed another podium spot, finishing in fourth place in the MC1 road race. Antonio Prieto (MT2) also finished fourth, while Gonzalo García Abella secured fifth place in MT1.
The continental championship has also confirmed the strong performance of Manuela Vos, who has earned two of Spain's three gold medals, and the consistency of the team led by Begoña Luis Pérez, with podium finishes in both time trial and road race events.
The Royal Spanish Cycling Federation highlighted the team's performance, with several representatives achieving top positions in their respective categories. For Ricardo Ten, this gold medal represents another significant international achievement.
