“"It is a perfect opportunity for families and schools to enjoy a different cultural experience together. This exhibition is not just to be contemplated, but to be lived. That is why we have included playful proposals such as the search for the astronaut, which invite participation and discovery of every detail. We have also paid special attention to showing the richness of nature in each scene, fostering environmental awareness from an early age."

The Paterna City Council, through its Department of Culture, will inaugurate an educational and informative exhibition that brings history and nature closer through Playmobil dioramas, open to the public until June 12.
The exhibition, titled “The Playmobil World. Dinosaurs, Egypt, and Rome”, will open to the public next Monday, May 11, at 7:00 PM. It can be visited free of charge at the Josep Herrero “Jeroni” Municipal Exhibition Hall, located in the Gran Teatre Antonio Ferrandis, at Plaza del Ejército Español, 4.
This exhibition, with a strong educational and informative character, consists of three large thematic models. These address content linked to current educational curricula, especially in areas such as Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Artistic Education, in line with the LOMLOE.
Through spectacular dioramas, made with original Playmobil pieces, the public and students can explore different historical and natural stages. From the origin of life and geological eras in the world of dinosaurs, to the richness of Pharaonic Egypt and the organization of the Roman Empire. These scenes, recreated with great detail, turn learning into a visual, participatory, and stimulating experience, fostering observation, curiosity, and critical thinking.
The exhibition comes from a private collection, the result of more than 40 years of collecting this iconic toy with more than half a century of history. It is one of the most outstanding collections internationally, from which a carefully selected collection of pieces is exhibited, many of them discontinued and acquired at auctions and specialized markets in countries such as Germany, France, or the United Kingdom.
The exhibition is complemented by explanatory panels that reinforce its pedagogical value. In addition, the dioramas are arranged on platforms 40 cm high and without elements that hinder vision, which facilitates visitor interaction and the possibility of taking photographs without reflections.
