Metrovalencia and the network of municipal libraries in l'Horta Nord have reinforced the 'Llibres viatgers de la Línia 3' initiative, allowing users to access free books at stations.

This project, coinciding with Book Day, offers reading points in the section between Alboraia and Rafelbunyol. Travelers can pick up books to read during their journey or at home, with the commitment to return them at any other reading point within the same section.
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) collaborates in the initiative by providing spaces in stations for these exchange points. The management and maintenance of the bibliographic collections fall under the responsibility of the libraries and town councils of Alboraia, Almàssera, Meliana, Foios, Albalat dels Sorells, Museros, Massamagrell, La Pobla de Farnals, and Rafelbunyol.

"The initiative remains active throughout the year, beyond the celebration of April 23."

Currently, FGV and the involved libraries are working on improving the signage of these spaces to facilitate their location by users. Line 3 is the busiest in the entire Metrovalencia network, having registered nearly five million travelers last year in this specific section of l'Horta Nord.
This institutional collaboration aims to foster reading habits and facilitate access to culture in a daily mobility environment, taking advantage of the high flow of passengers who transit through these stations daily.
