La Pobla de Farnals is preparing for the San Juan night celebration with a special security operation. This festival, one of the most attended in the beach area, is expected to draw thousands of people to the municipality.
The coordination of the operation was discussed at the Local Security Board, chaired by the Government's sub-delegate, José Rodríguez. The meeting reviewed citizen security issues and, specifically, the organization of the plan for the upcoming June 23rd.
The operation will involve more than 25 Local Police officers, thanks to collaboration agreements with the municipalities of Burjassot and Rafelbunyol. This reinforcement will be joined by a USECI unit from the Guardia Civil and personnel from the Massamagrell post, aiming to ensure the smooth running of the festivities and manage the large expected crowd.
The operation will be complemented by about thirty volunteers from Civil Protection from La Pobla de Farnals and Godella, ambulances, and personnel from the Punt Violeta (Violet Point), which will be part of the prevention and care efforts during the night.
The program organized by the Festivals department includes the traditional San Juan bonfire, accompanied by fireworks at 00:00 hours. Afterwards, an orchestra will entertain the evening until 04:00 hours.
The Town Hall of La Pobla de Farnals has also arranged a continuous bus service until 06:00 hours, to facilitate public transport use and reduce private vehicle usage on a night that is particularly busy in the beach area.
The organization of the operation seeks to ensure a safe and orderly celebration for one of the most popular festive events on the local calendar, marked by the attendance of residents, visitors, and people from other towns in the Horta region.
