The Foios City Council has launched a new public double charging point for electric vehicles on Vicente Ruiz “El Soro” street, as part of the modernization of the La Jutera business area.

This initiative, promoted by the Foios council with the support of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), consolidates Foios' commitment to sustainable mobility. The aim is to bring the service closer to citizens and facilitate the use of electric vehicles in both the urban center and economic activity zones.
According to the mayor of Foios, Sergi Ruiz, this expansion of the public charging network "consolidates Foios as one of the municipalities that has made the greatest efforts in recent years to expand public access to electric vehicle charging".
Currently, Foios' charging network has operational points on Santa Roc street, near the Local Police; at Molí park; at the metro station; and now also on Vicent Ruiz “El Soro” street. The new charger, which offers free charging, has two semi-fast charging connectors.
The planning of these points prioritizes accessible, visible, and nearby locations to populated areas, especially considering those who do not have their own garage or charging point. Furthermore, the Foios City Council is already working on launching two new charging points in the South Sector and on Hugo Bacharach avenue.
