Alboraia was the chosen venue this Saturday for the tenth-anniversary celebration of Els Ramonets, the well-known Valencian-language children's rock band. The Rock al Parc festival offered a full day of activities for the most rock-and-roll families, combining music with graffiti workshops, rocker hairstyles, tattoos, and games.
The event featured performances by other groups such as Els Electrodinàmics and Lesalto. The highlight was Els Ramonets' special concert at 7 PM, where they revisited their most significant hits from the past ten years of their musical career.
The story of Els Ramonets began with the question of whether children could sing rock music in Valencian. The audience's positive response has allowed the band to continue performing for a decade. "In fact, we didn't even remember we were celebrating ten years; it all came as a surprise," comments Ferran, the group's vocalist and guitarist.
Over these years, the band has performed thousands of concerts at festivals, schools, and towns, establishing themselves as a benchmark for children's rock in Valencian. To commemorate this milestone, they have organized a special celebration that includes ten songs from their repertoire, re-recorded with the collaboration of other artists such as La Maria, Benito Kamelas, Auxili, El Diluvi, and Pep Gimeno.
As a gift for attendees, a puzzle featuring the anniversary image has been included. "I made a puzzle so people can take home a souvenir of the concert and the album," explains animator Rubén. Additionally, the puzzle box contains a QR code to download the album and listen to it anytime.
This festival marks a decade of rock in Valencian for Els Ramonets, celebrating the vitality of the genre and the language.
