The Civil Guard has revealed the severity of an assault on a 13-year-old student at a high school in Foios, where the two involved were armed with a machete and a baseball bat.

Recent investigations by the Civil Guard into the assault on a student have uncovered the seriousness of the attack. The two individuals entered the educational center armed with a 40-centimeter machete and a baseball bat. The incident occurred within the school grounds when the two assailants, residents of nearby Albalat dels Sorells, attacked a 13-year-old student. The minor sustained minor injuries to her neck. The swift intervention of the teaching staff allowed for immediate notification of the Security Forces.
Several units from the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Foios were dispatched to the scene and quickly brought the situation under control. Provincial Command sources have confirmed that one of the minors involved is currently detained. The second individual, deemed legally unaccountable as they have not reached the age of 14, has been placed in the care of their parents. The investigation remains open to clarify the motives behind the assault.
