The Diputación de Valencia will allocate 1.4 million euros to four heritage rehabilitation projects in municipalities of l'Horta, as part of the Valencian Heritage Recovery Plan, aiming to preserve local history.

Of the total, 1,253,000 euros will be invested in three actions in l'Horta Nord, while the remaining 153,000 euros will finance an intervention in Beniparrell, in l'Horta Sud. These investments seek to restore emblematic buildings and connect citizens with their history.
The largest investment, amounting to 997,000 euros, will be carried out in Alfara del Patriarca for the renovation of the Castell de la Senyoria. This property, protected as a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC) and with origins in the 14th century, will become the new town hall. Already in the 1980s, the Diputación intervened to adapt it for cultural and administrative municipal use.
In Vinalesa, the provincial institution will invest 112,000 euros in the restoration of the civic center of the Antiga Fàbrica de la Seda. The project includes roof rehabilitation, anti-termite treatment, and interior element adaptation. Founded in 1770, this factory is considered the first textile factory in Valencia and currently houses municipal offices.
Also in l'Horta Nord, the Diputación will allocate 143,000 euros to the restoration of various dependencies of the Palau Castell de Albalat dels Sorells. This 15th-century stately palace, protected as a BIC since 1985, is considered one of the jewels of Valencian civil Gothic architecture.
In l'Horta Sud, the only announced project is the investment of 153,000 euros for the first phase of the restoration of the cloister of the old convent of the Carmelitas de Beniparrell. This 18th-century property is one of the main heritage elements of the municipality.
These actions are part of a provincial plan that has approved 30 projects in 13 regions, with a total investment close to 12 million euros. The vice president of the Diputación explained that the objective is to restore properties that contribute to the territory's identity, while the president has announced the intention to expand the number of beneficiary municipalities with an additional five million euros.
According to the provincial institution, all subsidized actions exceed 100,000 euros in budget and can receive aid of up to one million euros for Sites of Cultural Interest and up to 500,000 euros for Sites of Local Relevance. 75% of the subsidy will be paid upon the award of the works, and the remainder after the justification of the completed work.
