The Club Gimnasia Abetmar from Burjassot has achieved a remarkable bronze medal at the Suzuki World Cup 2026 in Tokyo, solidifying its presence in the elite of international aerobic gymnastics.

The participation of the Burjassot club in this high-level event, where the world's leading powers compete, has been impressive. The team demonstrated great character and technical quality, with outstanding performances in both the qualifying rounds and the finals.
The senior group, composed of Nacho Viguer, Valeria Machuca, Piero Gonzálvez, Martina Gil, and Carles Guillem, claimed bronze in an exciting final, proudly defending the colors of the Spanish national team.
In addition to the bronze, the club achieved other notable results in various categories. The senior trio, comprising Carles Guillem, Nacho Viguer, and Valeria Machuca, ranked among the top six in qualification. The senior mixed pair (Nacho Viguer and Martina Gil) was Top 7, while the senior pair (Carles Guillem and Valeria Machuca) achieved Top 8. In the senior individual female category, Martina Gil placed in the Top 15.
The club's director, Cristina Pérez, also had a prominent role as an official judge on the international panel, strengthening the presence of Club Abetmar in the global aerobic gymnastics arena.
