The commercial sector of Burjassot is preparing for the fourth edition of the Commerce Voucher. The City Council, in collaboration with the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, has confirmed the launch of this consolidated initiative. The program seeks to ease the financial burden on families and ensure a constant flow of customers to local businesses.
The campaign allows each citizen to acquire up to two vouchers. The mechanism is simple: the user pays 50 euros, and the Council contributes the remaining 50 euros, automatically doubling the purchasing value at participating establishments.
“"We are committed to local commerce and, at the same time, to helping family economies."
The measure is a two-pronged approach, according to the municipal official, who is confident in repeating the success of the three previous editions. The campaign is open to all citizens, with residency not being an exclusive requirement, which expands the reach of the municipal investment to potential visitors from neighboring municipalities.
Starting Tuesday, April 21, interested parties can make purchases through the official website. Vouchers can be redeemed from Wednesday, April 22, until June 30, covering a key period for spring consumption.
Aware that digitalization can be a barrier for certain sectors, the City Council has reserved a specific quota of 375 vouchers for those over 65 years old. These can be managed physically at the CEMEF offices (Avda. Virgen Desamparados, 26) by appointment, which can be requested from April 15 both in person and by phone.
Vouchers, once acquired online, can be collected at the CEMEF offices during morning hours, as well as at other temporary points that the organization will enable to facilitate access for all participants. Each collaborating establishment will have an identifying distinctive, ensuring that users easily recognize where they can stretch their shopping budget this 2026.
