The Burjassot City Council is launching a new edition of its Participatory Budgets, an initiative that allows citizens to directly decide on a portion of the municipal budget for improvements.

This process, which will run until September 16th, aims to foster direct involvement of residents in improving the municipality. All phases of the participatory process will be available on the web platform participa.burjassot.org.
The initiative is open to all individuals over 16 years of age registered in Burjassot. For those without electronic means, municipal spaces will be enabled to access the platform and participate.
The process calendar begins with the proposal collection and formulation phase, which will take place from May 11th to May 22nd. Each participant can submit a maximum of two investment proposals for the municipality. Subsequently, from May 25th to May 31st, the endorsement collection phase for the submitted proposals will open.
After this period, the initiatives will move to a feasibility study phase, which will run from June 1st to July 10th. Municipal departments will technically, administratively, and economically analyze the proposals. Those that pass this phase will be put to a final vote from July 13th to September 9th, and the results will be announced on September 16th.
