Burjassot celebrates Labor Day with music, horchata, and fartons in the square

The municipality in l'Horta Nord commemorates May 1st with a festive and protest-oriented day, offering free snacks and dinner to attendees.

The municipality of Burjassot will celebrate May 1st in Emilio Castelar Square with a festive and protest-oriented day that will include music, horchata, fartons, and longaniza sandwiches for all attendees.

The celebration of International Workers' Day in Burjassot will take place in a festive and protest-oriented atmosphere. The event, organized and sponsored by the Burjassot City Council, will begin at 5:30 PM with a popular snack.
Residents of the municipality will be able to enjoy a refreshing horchata accompanied by its inseparable fartons free of charge. Later, around 8:30 PM, attendees in the square will have the opportunity to taste a delicious longaniza sandwich along with a soft drink.
The music of the Orquesta Sideral will be the soundtrack of this evening, where the protagonists will be the town's inhabitants. As is traditional, the festivity will feature the collaboration of various local entities.
Among the collaborating entities are the Federation of Fallas of Burjassot, the Clavarías of 2026 of Sant Roc, of the Virgen de la Cabeza, of the Virgen de la Asunción, and of the Encuentro. Also participating will be the AAVV Maestro Lope-José Carsí, the Andalusian Cultural Association Al Andalus 25 Burjassot, the Fiestas de Capitán Uribarry, and the 13 Fallas Commissions of the municipality.
