The athlete, a member of the Levante Eagles Flight Club, will compete in the highest category of this discipline, both individually and in teams. His participation in this international event solidifies his progress in the world of hang gliding over recent years.
Fort Ruiz began competing in 2020 in the Sport class, the most accessible category, where he remained until 2023 and managed to win several stages. His evolution led him in 2024 to jump directly to Class 5, the premier category of hang gliding, where he began to compete in Spanish championships and various opens with good results.
During the 2024 season, he also participated in the Vuelta a España. In 2025, he took part in all competitions held in Spanish territory. Among his most notable results are a second place in the Lanzarote event and a remarkable performance in the Vuelta a España, where he secured a third place in one stage and completed almost all the legs of the course. Additionally, he achieved the runner-up title in the Valencian Community Championship, winning all the legs in which he could participate.
Marc Fort Ruiz's passion for free flight dates back to his childhood. In 2019, he took the course with his father, also a fan of this modality, and since then he has steadily advanced in competition until qualifying for a world event. Preparation for these events is not always easy, as the flight zones for training are quite distant, a circumstance that prevents him from accumulating all the flight hours he would like to continue growing in competition.
With his presence in the international championship in Gemona, Museros will be represented in one of the major events on the world hang gliding calendar.
