The city of València is preparing for the festivity of Saint Vincent Ferrer with a program of events culminating on Monday, April 13, including a pontifical mass, floral offering, mascletà, and the traditional procession.

The program, coordinated by the Junta Central Vicentina, highlights the continuation of the ‘miracles’, theatrical performances in Valencian starring children under 14 years old. This tradition, declared a Good of Cultural Interest, is one of the most deeply rooted elements of the celebration.
The Miracles Contest will take place on April 7, 8, and 9 at 3:30 PM at the ONCE Territorial Delegation, located on Gran Vía Ramón y Cajal. More than 150 boys and girls from various Vicentine altars will participate in these performances. The jury's verdict will be announced on Friday, April 10, at 7:30 PM at the headquarters of Lo Rat Penat. That same afternoon, at 6:30 PM, the church of San Juan del Hospital will host the presentation of the Official Book of the Vicentine Festivities.
On Saturday, April 11, at 11:00 AM, the Plaça de la Mare de Déu will be the stage for the performance of the winning miracle, followed by the awards ceremony. As a prelude to the main day, on Sunday, April 12, a 'castell de pals' (fireworks display) will be held at the Pont dels Serrans at 9:30 PM.
The main day, Monday, April 13, will begin at 10:00 AM with the pontifical mass at València Cathedral. At 12:00 PM, the floral offering to Saint Vincent Ferrer will depart from the Plaça de l’Ajuntament, passing through Sant Vicent and La Pau streets to the floral tapestry in front of the Saint's Birthplace, on Carrer de la Mar. At 2:00 PM, the pyrotechnics company Vulcano will fire a mascletà in the Plaça de Tetuan.
In the afternoon, the procession will depart from the Cathedral at 7:00 PM, following its usual route through Plaça de la Reina, Carrer de la Pau, General Tovar, Plaça de Tetuan, the church of Sant Doménech, Carrer de la Mar, Plaça de Sant Vicent Ferrer, Trinquet de Cavallers, Plaça de Nàpols i Sicília, the church of Sant Esteve, Carrer d’Edeta, and Carrer del Palau, before returning to the metropolitan temple.

"The children guarantee the continuity of devotion to Saint Vincent Ferrer by keeping alive the tradition of the Miracles of Saint Vincent. These days are dedicated to commemorating the life and work of one of the most beloved figures in the Valencian festive calendar."
