The proposal achieved the highest technical score among the 63 projects submitted, which allowed it to obtain the largest grant provided in this call. This recognition highlights the technical quality of an initiative that combines heritage recovery with the creation of a leading cultural space.
The granting of this aid will allow the planned schedule to be accelerated, as the contracting process is well advanced. It is expected that works can begin soon, before summer, to transform the monastery into a top-tier cultural center.

The future cultural center has been designed by architects Carlos Campos and Ramon Esteve. The intervention includes the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Santa Clara complex, aiming to preserve its historical values and adapt it for new uses linked to contemporary culture.
The first vice-president of the Diputación emphasized the importance of the project and referred to the figure of Raimon, highlighting his role as a cultural reference. She also called on other administrations and entities to get involved in the initiative.
The CRAC will feature spaces dedicated to exhibitions, performing arts activities, and a stable cultural program, becoming a central hub for culture in the region.
