A total of 126 people in the Valencian Community are summoned for the Ministry of Education's exams to directly obtain the Baccalaureate degree for those over 20 years old, with tests in Alicante, Castellón, and Valencia.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has summoned 126 people in the Valencian Community for the direct Baccalaureate degree attainment exams for those over 20 years old. Of these, 43 correspond to the province of Alicante, 20 to Castellón, and 63 to Valencia.
To be eligible, applicants must be at least 20 years old or turn 20 during 2026. Furthermore, they must not be enrolled in Baccalaureate under any regime, nor be in possession of a Baccalaureate degree or any other academically equivalent qualification, as detailed by the department in a statement.
The 2025-2026 academic year exams will take place on April 21 and 22 in three venues, one for each province: IES Playa San Juan in Alicante, IES Francesc Ribalta in Castellón de la Plana, and IES Luis Vives in Valencia.
The purpose of this assessment is to verify that applicants have achieved the objectives established in article 33 of Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on education, and the competencies indicated in article 16 of Royal Decree 243/2022, of April 5, which establishes the organization and minimum teachings of the Baccalaureate.
The exam is structured differently according to the various Baccalaureate modalities and pathways. It consists of two blocks (one for common subjects and another for subjects of the chosen modality) and a total of seven exercises, each lasting one and a half hours. The first four correspond to common subjects (Valencian, Spanish, Foreign Language, and Philosophy-History), and the remaining three to modality subjects. Each exercise includes content from both the first and second years.
Provisional grades will be published on April 30, 2026, and final grades on May 14, 2026. Those who pass the exam may apply for the Baccalaureate degree at the institutes serving as exam venues. This call is part of lifelong learning policies, offering an alternative path for adult citizens to continue their academic training and professional development.
