The Diputación de Valencia and the Torrent City Council have presented the comprehensive renovation project for the Torrent Fire Station, with an investment of nearly 2.4 million euros to modernize its facilities.

The works, which will begin shortly, have an estimated execution period of 16 months. During this time, the station will remain operational, ensuring service provision in both Torrent and its surrounding municipalities.
This project addresses the need to update facilities that are nearly three decades old, adapting them to new operational demands and the evolution of emergencies. The complex, located on a plot of over 6,200 square meters, will undergo a comprehensive reorganization.
Key improvements include the modernization of the vehicle hangar, optimization of work and rest areas, creation of new functional spaces, and the incorporation of technology adapted to current service needs. Additionally, energy efficiency measures will be implemented, such as the installation of solar panels for self-consumption and new climate control and ventilation systems.

"This is a demand from the firefighters, but also a necessity and, at the same time, a thank you. As mayor of Torrent, I want to thank the president of the Diputación and the deputy, because this renovation brings peace of mind and security to all residents."
