An accident recorded near Mas del Jutge, in the municipality of Torrent, has considerably slowed traffic on the A-7 towards Barcelona. This incident caused up to seven kilometers of congestion, as the right lane was closed. The high volume of traffic, especially heavy vehicles, accumulating on the bypass in the early morning contributed to the rapid formation of this bottleneck.
Concurrently, the AP-7, in the section between El Campello and la Vila Joiosa, accumulated nearly seven kilometers of congestion towards Valencia due to another traffic accident. The Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT) confirmed these figures, indicating that the situation was challenging for drivers traveling between l'Alacantí and Marina Baixa.
In addition to these incidents, the same AP-7 presented other points of slow traffic during Tuesday's rush hour. Five kilometers of congestion were recorded before the junction with the V-30 towards Castellón de la Plana. In the opposite direction, towards Alicante, six kilometers of congestion were also detected at various points, with four kilometers near Torrent and two in Moncada.
The main access roads to Valencia also experienced slow traffic in the early morning. The Silla road recorded nearly seven kilometers of congestion entering the city, while the Ademuz road had about four kilometers of queues heading towards the capital. Finally, the V-30, one of Valencia's busiest ring roads, had five kilometers of congestion towards the A-7 and almost four towards the port.
