The Vox spokesperson in Les Corts, José Mª Llanos, has announced that his party will adopt legal measures to halt the migrant regularization process promoted by the Government, both in city councils and in courts.

Llanos has denounced the situation of “chaos” that, according to him, the massive regularization of immigrants is causing in cities and neighborhoods, with long queues at the doors of city councils. He stated that this situation “threatens our security” and “causes an increase in public spending” that cannot be afforded.

"We are going to take all legal measures within our reach to prevent these massive regularizations. This situation threatens our security and causes an increase in public spending that we cannot afford."

The spokesperson indicated that they will study the legal possibilities to stop the process, acting with the power they can exert in city councils where they are part of the government, such as València, and resorting to the courts in other cases. He rejected the allocation of additional funds and personnel in city councils for this process.
For his part, the PSPV spokesperson, José Muñoz, has rejected Vox's arguments, pointing out that the people who will be regularized will contribute with their taxes to the maintenance of public services. Muñoz stated that these people “are more our compatriots than Santiago Abascal,” Vox's leader, and accused the party of reviving debates that Spanish society had already discarded.
