The Valencia Provincial Council has reaffirmed its full commitment to the Gay Games Valencia 2026, which will take place between June 27 and July 4, 2026, making the province a global hub for inclusive sports.

The presentation of this international sporting event took place at the Ciutat de València Stadium, with the presence of institutional representatives and the organizing committee. A call has been made to citizens to join the volunteer program, which already has over 500 registered individuals. Additionally, online training sessions are scheduled for April 30 and May 6. The Gay Games are expected to gather more than 9,000 athletes from 76 nationalities, with a notable presence from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
The competition will include 39 sports disciplines that will take place in various locations in Valencia and its metropolitan area, consolidating the city as an international benchmark for inclusive sports. The Provincial Council's support is part of its diversity and equality policies, with programs aimed at promoting inclusion in smaller municipalities.
