The Valencia Provincial Council has approved 30 heritage rehabilitation projects in various municipalities across the province, with an investment of nearly 12 million euros to conserve and enhance historical buildings.

This Valencian heritage recovery plan seeks to strengthen the region's identity and boost local economies, especially in smaller municipalities. The initiative foresees an additional five million euros to address all submitted applications.

The actions will extend across several regions. In Ribera Alta, interventions will take place in Guadassuar and Montroi. In the Valle de Cofrentes-Ayora, projects will reach Cortes de Pallás and Teresa de Cofrentes. Meanwhile, in Camp de Morvedre, Canet d'en Berenguer and Quartell will benefit.
Other areas included are Rincón de Ademuz, with interventions in Torrebaja and Castielfabib, and Serranía, where work will be carried out in Alpuente. The plan also includes projects in Bolbaite, in Canal de Navarrés, and in Chera, in Plana de Utiel-Requena.
Among the most notable projects are the rehabilitation of the Palace of the Bellvís of Benissuera, the recovery of the walls of Castielfabib Castle, the intervention in the Viceroy's Tower of L'Eliana, the Palace of the Counts of Orbe and Piniés of Quartell, the hermitage of Teresa de Cofrentes, and the flour mill of Beniflà.
Each project has a budget exceeding 100,000 euros and can receive aid of up to one million euros for Cultural Interest Assets (BIC). In addition to heritage conservation, these actions will generate employment, economic activity, and increased tourist appeal for the involved municipalities.
