The València City Council has opened the application period for financial aid aimed at early childhood education students, with a budget of 5,470,000 euros to facilitate access to education and ease the financial burden on families.

These subsidies, approved by the Local Government Board on March 13, primarily aim to ensure equal opportunities in education and support families in the city. The initiative covers various educational and work-life balance needs for the upcoming school year.
The aid finances essential services such as schooling in the first and second cycles of early childhood education, school meals, early morning school, and summer school. Additionally, it includes school supplies, covering the costs of books and other materials necessary for both regular and extracurricular activities.
Families with children already enrolled or those expecting a birth during the current year can apply for these grants. It is essential that both the minor and their parents or legal guardians are registered in the municipality of València and that the school is located in the city, with exceptions for specialized care needs. Minors enrolled in public schools or fully subsidized private schools are excluded, as they have other funding channels.
The city council has set maximum amounts for each modality to ensure that the largest number of beneficiaries can access the aid. The school voucher can reach up to €120 per month for 10 months, school meals up to €94.5 per month for 11 months, early morning school has a maximum single payment of €125, and summer school a maximum single payment of €120.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 27. It is recommended to complete the process electronically through the municipal electronic headquarters to expedite it, although in-person submission at municipal registries and other legal means are also permitted.
