On the occasion of the Saint Vincent Ferrer festivities, the Valencia City Council has launched a program of free guided tours to bring citizens closer to the figure of one of the most relevant saints in Valencian history.

This cultural initiative, which pays homage to the Dominican friar, allows visitors to explore some of the heritage sites most closely linked to his life and legacy in the city of Valencia. Although the official day of Saint Vincent Ferrer is April 5, the celebration is traditionally moved to the second Easter Monday, which in 2026 will be April 13.
Saint Vincent Ferrer, born in Valencia in 1350, was a Dominican friar considered one of the great preachers of medieval Europe. His intense religious work led him to travel through numerous territories, spreading his message with great oratorical skill that earned him significant social and spiritual influence.
Canonized in 1455, his figure is closely linked to the religious and cultural history of the city. Among the places that preserve his legacy and are included in these guided tours are the Basilica of Saint Vincent Ferrer and the Church of the Patriarch or Corpus Christi.
The program, organized by the Valencia City Council in collaboration with Rebombori Cultural, offers a journey through the saint's life, works, and miracles. Prior registration for these free tours must be made via email at inscripcionturismo@valencia.es.
The tours will be offered in several languages and on various dates during April and May 2026. Some of the scheduled dates include April 15 (Valencian), April 16 (Spanish), April 17 (Valencian), April 25 (Spanish), April 26 (Valencian), May 2 (French), May 3 (English), May 23 (Valencian), and May 24 (Spanish).
