Hundreds of triathletes will compete in the distances of 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, and 21.1 km of running. The swimming segment will take place in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, starting and finishing at Malvarrosa Beach.
The cycling segment, considered one of the fastest in Spain, will follow a rolling course that combines sea views and sections through the Sierra Calderona. The 21.1 km run will be completely flat, passing along the Paseo de la Alameda, the City of Arts and Sciences, and the Turia River bed, with the finish line at one of Valencia's most iconic locations.
“"The IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia combines high-level sport with vibrant Mediterranean culture and gastronomy, offering participants and companions a unique experience in one of Spain's most dynamic cities."
The event offers qualification slots for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, which will be held in Nice (France) in September 2026. Pleasant weather conditions are expected: air temperatures between 11 °C and 21 °C, and water temperature around 19 °C.
This weekend, Valencia will host a great triathlon festival that reinforces its position as a reference destination for international sports tourism. The organization recommends participants and companions consult the official website for exact wave start times, transition areas, and potential traffic restrictions that will be activated during the day.
