The city of València has announced a new call for proposals for the València Music City grants, with a budget of 200,000 euros, to boost the professionalization and growth of the local music sector.

This amount represents a 33% increase compared to the previous edition, which had a budget of 150,000 euros, due to the high participation recorded. This budgetary reinforcement consolidates the City Council's work to strengthen the city's music ecosystem and improve the capacity of projects to grow and generate economic and cultural impact.

"This budgetary increase is a clear sign that València believes in its music sector and its ability to generate value, employment, and international projection. It is not just about increasing resources, but about consolidating a more solid, professional, and competitive ecosystem."

In this context, Las Naves is hosting a dissemination and training day today, aimed at beneficiary projects and the music sector as a whole, promoted by València Music City, within the framework of the València Innovation Capital strategy. The meeting is designed as a practical space to share real experiences, improve project management, and strengthen preparation for the new call.
During the day, initiatives supported in the 2025 edition will be presented, allowing for the sharing of lessons learned, best practices, and challenges in the sector. In addition, a training session will be held focusing on key aspects such as administrative management, justification of aid, and strategic design of cultural projects.

"We want to accompany the sector throughout the process, not only financing projects, but helping them to consolidate and grow with guarantees. València has talent, a creative fabric, and a real opportunity to become a European musical benchmark."

The day will also serve as a prelude to the launch of the new call, which is part of the València Music City 2025–2030 strategy, a plan that positions music as a key driver of the city's cultural, social, and economic development. Through this model, the City Council promotes collaborative governance that connects administration, industry, and citizens to strengthen the music ecosystem.
With this new impetus, València continues to advance in its positioning as a reference Music City, and in its commitment to the professionalization of the sector and to music as a tool for urban transformation and a driving force for the future.
