Valencia CF Women hosted SE AEM on the final matchday of the Primera Federación Iberdrola, securing a crucial victory that positions them favorably for the promotion play-offs to the First Division.

The match, played this Saturday, pitted two teams with different objectives: the home side sought to consolidate their position in the standings, while the visitors needed a win to avoid relegation to Segunda Federación. From the opening minutes, the team led by Mikel Crespo showed clear dominance on the field, with an early chance from Marta Mascarell hitting the post in the second minute.
The Valencian team's presence on the pitch stifled the visitors, who struggled to cross midfield or approach the home team's area. Pauleta Sancho and Esther Gómez were key in feeding the offensive line, where Marta Mascarell became a constant headache for the SE AEM defense. After several missed opportunities, Danielle Marcano opened the scoring for the home side. However, SE AEM managed to equalize in first-half stoppage time, capitalizing on a defensive error.
The second half began with a role reversal, as SE AEM sought to increase their goal tally. The Valencian goalkeeper, Marina Llàcer, had to intervene on several occasions due to set-piece situations. In the 59th minute, Valencia regained the lead with a goal from Marina Martí, which deflected off a rival defender and found its way into the net. Ten minutes later, Gema Climent sealed the match with a powerful header from a corner, making it 3-1.
SE AEM did not give up and narrowed the gap in the 90th minute with another corner, attempting to force a draw in the six minutes of added time. But Valencia CF's intensity gave the visitors no chance, as they conceded a fourth goal from Leire Monente, confirming their presence in Segunda Federación for the next season.
