Valencia CF suffered a 2-3 defeat at Mestalla against Celta de Vigo, in a match where the visitors came from behind to score three goals in the second half after Valencia's early lead.

The match, corresponding to matchday 30 of LaLiga EA Sports, saw Celta de Vigo overturn the score after Guido Rodríguez put Valencia ahead in the 12th minute. Goals from Ilaix Moriba, Fer López, and Williot Swedberg sealed the away victory, despite a second goal from Guido in added time.
After the international break, both teams were looking for a win at Mestalla. The Valencianistas had the opportunity to move further away from the relegation zone and closer to European spots, while Celta needed to defend their Conference League position.
Valencia coach Carlos Corberán maintained the starting eleven that won in Seville, while Claudio Giráldez, Celta's coach, brought back Ilaix Moriba, who was returning to his former stadium. Celta started with high pressure, but Valencia quickly leveled the playing field.
The first clear chance for the home side came from an action by Ramazani, which preceded Guido Rodríguez's goal in the 12th minute, after he capitalized on a rebound. Celta tried to react but did not create danger until the second half, when Giráldez's changes revitalized the team.
In the 56th minute, Ilaix Moriba equalized, and just four minutes later, Fer López put Celta ahead with a great goal. Williot Swedberg sealed the win in the 81st minute. Despite a second goal from Guido in the 93rd minute, Valencia could not avoid defeat in front of the 43,764 spectators at Mestalla.
