The Valencia City Council maintains its commitment to music in the Fallas with a new call for 75,000 euros in subsidies, aimed at commissions for hiring musical groups for the 2026 events.

The initiative, which will be approved by the Local Government Board, seeks to support the presence of music bands, 'tabal i dolçaina' groups, and other formations in the parades and official events of the festivities. This measure is part of the municipal strategy València Music City, which aims to boost the city's musical fabric.
The call is aimed at commissions integrated into the Junta Central Fallera (JCF) that are non-profit and meet the requirements established in the bases. With this line of support, the council promotes cultural and festive activity linked to the Fallas, facilitating the participation of musical groups.
This aid can cover up to 100% of the taxable base of the eligible expense. If the total volume of applications exceeds the available credit, the distribution will be proportional among the admitted entities. Applications must be processed exclusively online within twenty calendar days from the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP).
Beneficiary commissions must subsequently justify the expense with the corresponding documentation, including invoices and payment receipts. They must also accredit the dissemination of municipal collaboration on platforms such as the website, social networks, the 'llibret', or outdoor posters. Payments must be made directly to the musical groups and cannot be made in cash if the expense exceeds 1,000 euros. Invoices must be dated between the 2025 and 2026 annual periods, considering the dates of the Fallas celebration.
