The decision, made by the Local Government Board, aims to guarantee the continuity of learning, educational, and leisure activities carried out in these school centers during the summer period, beyond the formal academic calendar and schedule.
The subsidy is granted directly to the associations of parents and families of the students of each of the three centers. These entities are responsible for managing and organizing the activities of the summer schools.
Specifically, the Families Association (AFA) of Benimaclet and the Parents and Mothers Association (AMPA) of Professor Santiago Grisolía will each receive 33,000 euros. For its part, the AMPA of Fernando de los Ríos will receive 22,000 euros.
These aids are included in the Strategic Subsidy Plan 2026-2028 as nominative subsidies managed by the Education Service of the València City Council. They will contribute to covering personnel expenses, school materials for activities such as crafts or games, excursions, transportation for outings, and accident and civil liability insurance.
“"The uniqueness and specialty of the projects that make up each center's summer schools are fundamental for the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of the students."
The beneficiary associations commit to submitting a report on the actions carried out, including activities and results, as well as an economic justification report for the project's cost, accompanied by relevant documentation.
