Valencia Hosts Most Crowded Queen's Cup Sailing Regatta

Valencia is gearing up to host the XXVII edition of the Queen's Cup Sailing, scheduled from June 26th to July 5th, with expectations of a record-breaking number of participants.

The city of Valencia will be the venue for the XXVII edition of the Queen's Cup Sailing, commencing this Friday, June 26th, and concluding on Sunday, July 5th. This competition is expected to break participation records, with a total of 130 boats competing on the water. This figure surpasses the 126 boats that participated in the 2007 edition, which coincided with the 32nd America's Cup held in the city.
The regatta, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, will bring together approximately 1,200 sailors from various nationalities, including Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, and Argentina. The competition will feature different classes and categories.
As a tribute to the Navy, the regatta includes a 220 nautical mile course. The Inshore races, encompassing the ORC 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 classes, Sportboat, J80, Open, and Promotion categories, will take place between July 3rd and 5th.
