The Local Police of València have arrested two individuals in the Saïdia neighborhood after a mobile phone theft, discovering their involvement in a large street brawl that occurred days earlier in the same district.

The events unfolded last Saturday night, around 11:00 PM, when a person reported the theft of their mobile phone in a park located between Ministro Luis Mayans and Almassora streets. Thanks to the victim's description, a patrol managed to locate and intercept the vehicle in which the assailants had fled towards Primado Reig Avenue.
After identifying the two individuals and recovering the stolen device, it was confirmed that both had been involved in a street brawl that took place the previous Thursday on Bilbao street, also in the Saïdia neighborhood. This altercation involved about ten people and caused significant alarm among residents.

The situation has generated a climate of fear and distrust among residents, who demand urgent measures to improve neighborhood security.

Residents of Saïdia have repeatedly expressed their concern about the increase in crime in the area, including robberies in shops, garages, and homes, as well as assaults on vulnerable individuals. The San Antonio-Zaidía Neighborhood Association has denounced this situation, urging the city council to take measures to eradicate such incidents.
