The Territorial College of Architects of Valencia (CTAV) has closed the deadline for submitting candidacies for the renewal of its presidency and governing board, with voting scheduled for May 22.

Three candidacies have been presented for this electoral process, led by Pablo Peñín Llobell, José María Tomás Llavador, and Maite Broseta Palanca. These professionals aim to lead the institution during the next term, with a total of 3,300 registered architects called to participate in the vote.
Pablo Peñín, an architect from the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Valencia since 1999 and an associate professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), has developed residential and international projects. Furthermore, he has served as head of the CTAV's Culture area since 2014 and as secretary of the collegiate body.
For his part, José Mª Tomás, a doctor architect from the UPV and a professor of Urbanism, founded his studio in 1992. His career includes works in various countries and combines professional practice with teaching and research, also directing the magazine Lars and the publishing house I See Books.
The third option is Maite Broseta, a doctor in territorial planning and urbanism from the Polytechnic. She has been a civil servant architect in Local Administration since 2005, an associate professor in the UPV's Urbanism Department, and author of publications on urbanism and heritage conservation. She currently presides over the Association of Urbanist Architects of the Valencian Community.
The electoral call, approved by the CTAV's governing board on April 1, adheres to current statutes and regulations. The electoral calendar will allow postal voting on May 4, electronic voting on May 20 and 21, and in-person voting on May 22. The CTAV has made the electoral roll available to members to ensure proper participation.
