The Museu de les Ciències in Valencia has prepared a varied program of free scientific outreach activities for April, including conferences on artificial intelligence, astronomical observations, and school competitions.

Among the proposals, the conference «The Singularity of AI. Can it solve any problem?» stands out on April 15 at 7 PM, which will analyze the theoretical and practical limits of current computing. This session, part of the cycle dedicated to AI, will be given by Chema Sempere, PhD in Computer Science and tenured professor of Languages and Computer Systems at the Universitat Politècnica de València, at the Santiago Grisolía Auditorium.
The following day, April 16, to mark the 28th anniversary of the Hemisfèric, a free observation with telescopes will be offered starting at 9:30 PM in the Astronomy Garden of the Umbracle. Attendees will be able to observe Jupiter, the largest planet in the Solar System, and some of the most notable double stars of the year, weather permitting.
Astronomical outreach will continue on April 28 with the conference «Under the shadow of the moon. The Triad of solar eclipses 2026, 2027 and 2028», led by Pedro García Lario, astronomer at the European Space Agency (ESA). The talk, which will take place at the Museu de les Ciències Auditorium at 7 PM, will explain what can be observed from Spain during the upcoming solar eclipses.
Additionally, the Museum will host the final of the school competition «Action for the climate» on April 17, where students from all over Spain will present their ideas for planet conservation. On April 26, it will be the turn of the 21st Experimenta Fair-Competition, an international science fair organized by the Faculty of Physics of the University of Valencia, where high school students will exhibit their STEM projects.
