The 'taronja' club officially inaugurated its new Museu & Tour Valencia Basket this Saturday, May 16. This initiative will allow fans and the general public to access private areas of the Roig Arena and relive the entity's journey since its foundation in 1986.
During a 'pilot tour' for media representatives, club legends such as Víctor Claver and Leles Muñoz, along with General Director Enric Carbonell and Director of External Relations, Víctor Luego, had the opportunity to explore the facilities.
The museum's trophy display, which already showcases recent achievements, could soon be expanded. The club hopes to remodel it to accommodate the EuroLeague, the title missing from its collection, and potentially this year's Liga F Endesa trophy, which the women's team could win this Sunday against Casademont Zaragoza.
“"Hopefully, we can add that EuroLeague trophy in a few days. The team is capable of it."
Víctor Claver also commented on the pressure at the EuroLeague Final Four, scheduled from May 22 to 24, indicating that while it can be helpful, the experience of rivals is also a factor. For her part, Leles Muñoz expressed her pride in the club's proximity to its fourth women's Liga F Endesa title and highlighted the club's commitment to both teams.
The Tour, starting at the official store, offers an immersive experience with videos, projections, and interactive zones. Visitors can compare their height with that of the players, practice shooting hoops, and explore areas like the press room or the tunnel to the court. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Roig Arena box office.
Víctor Claver described the project as pioneering in Europe, comparable to NBA franchise museums, and Leles Muñoz emphasized the immersive and digital nature of the exhibition, as well as the equal treatment of the men's and women's teams.
