The facilities, which occupy a surface area of 30,000 square meters spread over ten floors, have been designed with the collaboration of patient associations to ensure accessibility and the humanization of spaces. The center, which had already been operating with outpatient clinics and diagnostic imaging since last November, has now opened its hospitalization areas, operating rooms, emergency services, and intensive care units.
The center's medical management has highlighted the commitment to state-of-the-art technology, including the first advanced precision hybrid operating room in Europe. This equipment allows for real-time monitoring of intervention results without the need to move the patient. Furthermore, artificial intelligence tools have been incorporated to personalize treatments and improve diagnostic accuracy.
The hospital not only focuses on care but also positions itself as a benchmark in biomedical research. Through collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de València and the Universitat de Barcelona, the center works on the development of new biomarkers and scientific projects.
The commitment to sustainability and patient well-being is reflected in elements such as the therapeutic garden and the 'Palabras de alivio' initiative, developed by students from the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos, which seeks to integrate art into the hospital environment to promote recovery.
