This Monday, the westerly wind will blow moderately in the morning inland and in the Gulf of Valencia, shifting to a southerly component in the afternoon. This will lead to a sunny day, with low humidity and good visibility. Temperatures will rise slightly along the coast, with warm conditions at midday and highs between 22 °C and 26 °C in most of the territory, except in the northern interior of Castellón and the westernmost part of the province of Valencia, where they will be lower.
For Tuesday, the weather could change again, as clouds may develop at midday in the regions of Els Ports, Maestrat, and Alcalatén, bringing locally strong showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. In the rest of the territory, sun and heat are expected, but with more clouds. The wind will blow from the west and south, and most highs will be between 23 °C and 27 °C.
Temperatures will not rise further on Wednesday, a day marked by a light to moderate westerly wind. The approach of cold air at altitude will cause a significant increase in clouds, with the possibility of locally strong showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon in the regions of Castellón, approximately from La Calderona northwards.
Finally, between Thursday and Friday, a new episode of rain is expected, accompanied by a thermal drop. Showers could start in the north on Thursday morning and advance towards the center of the community throughout the day, without reaching the southern regions. Temperatures will drop significantly.
