The study, which analyzes nearly 400 positions across different professional areas, focuses on senior profiles with more than six years of experience. Their remunerations include base salary, variables, and additional benefits, especially in sectors such as technology, engineering, and regulatory affairs.
At the top of the ranking is the 'technical lead' profile within the IT sector, with salaries ranging between 79,000 and 101,000 euros annually. This role is crucial in technology teams, responsible for leading complex projects and defining technical architectures.
This is followed by the position of plant manager, with salaries between 70,000 and 99,000 euros, essential in the industrial sector due to their responsibility for production and operational efficiency. Third place is held by the 'compliance officer', with remunerations of up to 90,000 euros, reflecting the growing importance of regulation and the need to ensure regulatory compliance in companies.
The ranking is completed by other strategic profiles such as the auditor and consultant in sectors like banking and insurance, both with salaries of up to 89,000 euros, as well as the project manager in engineering, who can reach 82,000 euros. Positions linked to digital transformation also stand out, such as the 'site reliability engineer' (SRE), with salaries of up to 81,000 euros, and the 'product manager', key in digital environments, with salaries of up to 66,000 euros.
In the commercial and insurance sectors, the 'key account manager' (KAM) appears, with up to 76,000 euros, and the actuary, who closes the ranking with remunerations of up to 66,000 euros. Despite these figures, Valencia is below other major Spanish cities in terms of salary levels, showing negative differences of more than 10% compared to Madrid and Barcelona, although it slightly surpasses Málaga.
The study concludes that digitalization, regulatory complexity, and the need to improve business efficiency are driving the demand for qualified talent. This is leading to increasing competition among companies to attract these profiles, which will continue to push salaries upwards in the coming years.
