Artist Dani Fernández is in stable condition and recovering after undergoing emergency surgery this Sunday at a Valencia hospital. The intervention, performed by a specialized medical team, addressed a severe acromioclavicular dislocation, a consequence of his fall at the Roig Arena.
According to the medical report, the surgery proved more complex than initially anticipated. However, the medical team has confirmed that the patient is progressing favorably and remains under constant supervision during the postoperative period.
The accident occurred on Saturday night while the artist was performing the song Plan fatal, part of his 'La Insurrección' tour. Fernández fell from the edge of the stage, sustaining an impact that caused ligament rupture in his shoulder and a head laceration.
“"I didn't want to go home and think that I had left you with half the show."
After being attended by medical services for 25 minutes, the artist decided to return to the stage to finish the concert with his arm in a sling, demonstrating his commitment to the audience. After the performance, the singer was transferred to the hospital, from where he communicated the severity of his injury via social media.
The future of the 'La Insurrección' tour is now subject to medical evaluation and rehabilitation timelines. The artist's team and specialists will assess the schedule in the coming days, while Dani Fernández maintains an optimistic outlook, noting that "it could have been worse".
