The Silla City Council has launched two key initiatives for the educational community: the installation of adapted playgrounds for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at CEIP El Patí and a school streets project to improve road safety.

The CEIP El Patí in Silla has inaugurated a new play area specifically designed for students with ASD. This installation, which involved an investment of 18,000 euros, includes a robinia circuit and a mixed wooden swing, intended to foster the physical and emotional development of the children.
This action was made possible thanks to the involvement of the center's families, especially those from the CIL classroom, who expressed the need for a space adapted to the characteristics of their children.

"The project reflects the model of an inclusive, sensitive town that listens to the real needs of families."

In parallel, the council has initiated a pilot project for school streets around the same CEIP El Patí, with interventions on streets such as Nostra Senyora dels Àngels, Sagunt, plaça Morella, carrer Alzira, and avinguda de Lluís Vives. This project aims to reinforce road safety in the vicinity of educational centers.
Among the implemented measures, new road signage stands out, warning of the proximity of a school zone and promoting vehicle speed reduction. Additionally, a pedestrian route with yellow and white graphics has been created to increase visibility. As an innovative element, a speed limit sign with solar technology has been installed, informing drivers in real-time and encouraging more responsible driving during school entry and exit hours.

"These games contribute to the comprehensive development of students, improving aspects such as coordination, concentration, and emotional well-being."
