The group Quadern d’Assajos Teatre, directed by Pere Huerta, is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the Teatre Serrano de Gandia's reopening with a performance of 'Falstaff, the Last Rehearsal' on Friday, May 29th.

The Teatre Serrano in Gandia is hosting the celebration of its twentieth anniversary since reopening with a performance of the play Falstaff, the Last Rehearsal, by the group Quadern d’Assajos Teatre. The show will take place on Friday, May 29th, at 8 PM.
The play, directed by the writer, photographer, and playwright from Safor, Pere Huerta, addresses the struggle of an arts school for its survival against the threats of the real estate market. It is an inclusive and emotional story that highlights social integration and the diverse abilities of its characters.
Through poetry, music, body language, and dialogue, the performance advocates for the beauty of life. In addition to the regular members of Quadern d’Assajos Teatre, external actors and a significant part of the acting ensemble from Auna Inclusió are participating.
Quadern d’Assajos Teatre, founded by Pere Huerta in July 2015, is dedicated to theatrical creation and exhibition with the aim of fulfilling a cultural and entertainment function. The company prioritizes original texts that blend current issues with universal classic values, seeking authentic communication with the audience and experimenting with new theatrical languages. To date, they have premiered 18 original works.
Pere Huerta (Gandia, 1964) is passionate about the arts in all their manifestations. He has published essays, poetry, and narratives, and has produced numerous dramatic texts, some of which have reached national circuits, such as El círculo, premiered in Madrid in 2018. His notable works include Las horas que no son nuestras, L’aldea, Octubre, Nagore, Grotowski, El cuaderno, and La hojarasca.
