The municipality of Nules has presented the reference guide for the ‘Naixem‘ project, an initiative that seeks to transform birth care models through innovation and healthcare humanization.

The presentation brought together authorities, healthcare professionals, and collaborating entities. The event included the participation of the Councilor for Health, Ramón Martínez, along with representatives from the Universitat Politècnica de València, the Instituto Tecnológico de la Cerámica, the Instituto de Biomecánica de València, and the Institut Català de la Salut.
The guide aims to incorporate the best available scientific evidence and place the needs of women, babies, and their families at the center of care. It is conceived as a strategic tool for advancing towards safer, more respectful, and efficient care models.
During the event, Soledad Carreguí, the project's principal investigator, detailed its origin, objectives, and achieved results. Councilor Ramón Martínez highlighted the project's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in care quality, emphasizing the collaborative work towards more humane assistance.
As presented, the initiative contributes to positioning the Comunitat Valenciana as a benchmark in innovation and humanization of birth care.
The project also features the ‘Naixem‘ exhibition pavilion, a space designed to showcase a new experience of pregnancy and childbirth, which concluded the presentation event.
The initiative's leaders believe that ‘Naixem‘ represents an opportunity to consolidate good practices, foster applied research, and drive innovation in maternal and child health, with the ultimate goal of improving the birth experience and health outcomes.
