The town of Moncada hosted the presentation of the book Salvar, trair o callar, a work by historian Pau Pérez that explores violence and social foundations during the Second Republic, the Civil War, and Francoism.

The publication of this book was made possible thanks to the research by Pau Pérez and the collaboration of the Culture and Democratic Memory departments of the Moncada City Council. The event was attended by a full house of residents and featured the prominent participation of magistrate Joaquim Bosch.
The Councilor for Culture, Anna Gascó, emphasized the importance of the work, stating that it is an “essential exercise in truth to understand our past and give a voice to those who were silenced for too long.” She expressed her satisfaction at having made this study possible, which combines local history with democratic memory.

"From the City Council, we have the responsibility to work for reparation, dignify the victims, and make memory a tool for democratic construction."
